Calgary's 15th Parkinson SuperWalk is only two weeks away! Parkinson Society of Southern Alberta is on its way to meeting a fundraising goal of $140,000 in Calgary. If you want to attend the walk, there is still time to collect pledges and support a great cause. Take part in the largest national fundraiser for those living with Parkinson disease. Together we can Ease the Burden and Find a Cure for this neurological disorder affecting 5,500 Southern Albertans and their families.
SuperWalk takes place on Saturday, Sept. 11 at North Glenmore Park, Snowy Owl Picnic Site (7305 24 Street SW). Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the walk is at 11:00 a.m. This year's exciting SuperWalk is a 3 km distance and will feature live entertainment from local band bORDERLINE, prizes and food.
