Skate, Walk or Wheel a-Kid-to-Camp

Skate, Walk or Wheel a-Kid-to-Camp is our most important fundraiser for Camp Bonaventure. Camp Bonaventure is the only summer day within city limits that provides outdoor activities like rock climbing, sailing and horse-back riding for children with and without disabilities. Funds from this vital event support the fee subsidy program which ensures that no child misses out on camp due to financial constraints.

Join us March 13th for the 17th Annual Skate, Walk or Wheel a-Kid-to-Camp which expects over 500 people attending this fun skating relay held at the Olympic Oval.

Teams of 4 – 8 skaters try to outdo other teams by collecting the most pledges, winning the most laps, having the best team costume, or having the most fun. Participants enjoy generous prizes awarded, many entertaining activities and the satisfaction of making a difference in the lives of young people with disabilities.

Our goal this year is to raise $150,000.
